MIT Motorsports is a dedicated group of students that strives to engineer a Formula SAE car of the highest calibre. Made up of undergraduate and graduate students, the team annually builds an electric racecar for the Formula SAE Electric competition in Lincoln, Nebraska.
We are committed to education and promotion of science and engineering in our local community. The team regularly gives shop tours and demonstrations to elementary and high school students from the area. On campus, we are involved with the Edgerton Center Outreach Program and the MIT Museum. The team also collaborates with local businesses to support grassroots programs and community involvement.
